energizing exercises 
mindful movements of Qi-gong by Thich Nhat Hanh

Qi-gong is the art of movement and breathing to balance the energy in your body.

"Smile, breathe and go slowly.”
Thich Nhat Hanh 

 1. Stand in Tadasana (neutral position, mountain pose).  Breathe in come with your arms on shoulder height in front of you.
Breathe out let arms come down to the initial position (Tadasana).
Repeat 4 times and bring a light smile on your face when you come downwards.


2. Stand in Tadasana (neutral position, mountain pose).  Breathe in come with your arms high above your head stretch out towards the sky, hand palms are towards the inside.
Breathe out let arms come down to the initial position (Tadasana)
Repeat 4 times and bring a light smile on your face when you come downward.


3. Stand in Tadasana (neutral position, mountain pose) and bring your hands on your shoulders. Breathe in and come side wards with your arms. Breathe out and come back inward.
Repeat 4 times and bring a light smile on your face when you come back inward.


4. Stand in Tadasana (neutral position, mountain pose) make a big circle with your arms from back to front, hands touching each other in the front then do the same from front to back. Half a circle with inhalation and half a circle with expiration. Repeat 4 times.


5. Stand in Tadasana (neutral position, mountain pose) breathe in and bring your arms and hands upward above your head. Breathe out and come downward completely bending from the hips . Come upward again breathing in, repeat 4 times.
