I’m Claudine Drees a hatha yoga and meditation practitioner since 1998 and a Kriyaban. I’m an Ananda yoga instructor and I live between Brussels and Rome.
I am a trainer and coach in management-, communication skills and stress management with my own company CD Consulting International.
What are my motives to create this internet site?
When I joined my first yoga class in the 90s, I felt instantly that it was a great practice for my body and mind but I didn't really understand the reasons why. After so many years of study I want to share my knowledge and experience with others.
I used to be much more anxious , impatient, I always wanted to come to closure in situations to go to the next one, I was living in the future. I was lived by circumstances and I didn’t have a great self-image. Most of the time I was in doubt but my way of surviving was showing I was a go-getter.
I’ve had many teachers to whom I’m very grateful; Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Paramhansa Yogananda, Swami Kriyananda, Jayadev Jaersky, Thich Nhat Hanh…
All these teachers have enriched my life and my practices.
My path towards more self-consciousness started in 1997 and continued ever since. Meditation and yoga have become my daily life and routine.
A few years further on the road I met a wise man who told me: “Claudine, the instrument is blessed by what flows through it”. I didn’t understand what he meant completely, but later it became clear to me…
I got the insight that lots of times “other persons” and “my fears” determined the quality of my flow, and that I didn’t live from my core of wisdom, of peace of love and of joy…
This ever growing consciousness to choose for my” inner core qualities” makes me today more healthy, resilient, peaceful and happy.
I think that in our current Western societies lots of us want to find solutions to step out of the roller coaster and to live a happier life.
I would like to help you to connect to your inner core peace and happiness and live there whilst being in this turbulent world…
yoga asanas, mindful meditation and energizing exercises are important keys to that knowledge and experience.
